Jesse D’Angelo

Author of Horror and Suspense

Meet Jesse

Hopefully one day I’ll be old and gray… And still writing stories about monsters, the dark side of humanity, sweeping adventures and anything else I damn well feel like.

Like most creators, I was the weird kid. While others played baseball and video games, I drew pictures of werewolves and wrote stories about zombies.

As I grew, my werewolf and zombie stories grew with me. I continued to write, draw comics, and make short films with every spare minute. However, as I became older and wiser, I decided my art needed to grow as well.

So, instead of just writing stories, I began writing full length books about what else? Werewolves and zombies. And of course, all the practice drawing comics meant that I could use my skills to create my own artwork. It even has become something I do for other writers as well.

I love what I do. I’m on a mission to tell great stories, create eye-popping art, and rock your socks off.

I am married to a wonderful woman, have an amazing son, and serve three diva cats. I am thankful for every day! Life is one big lesson, and I will never stop learning.

Join me on my journey, friends!

Reviews

“This is a grade A horror novel. The attention to the small details is amazing. The author creates a throughly believable main character. The whole time you will be asking yourself -who is the good guy?!?! and who is the bad guy?!?! Is this real?!?!?”

— P. Wooster, Amazon Review, Lady of the Lake

Book reminds you a lot of early Stephen King (the small town feel, the morally ambiguous characters). Utilizes flashbacks and present day POV's (usually annoying but well done here). The title character is a great antagonist, beautiful, ugly, and deadly at the same time. Well worth the price.

-D. Rooney, Amazon Review, Lady of the Lake

Author Jesse D'Angelo's latest effort came highly recommended by a close friend who had purchased his previous release, "Lady of the Lake." As with most suggestions conveyed through word of mouth, I was initially a little hesitant, however, I was completely blindsided by "Prey To God!" Simply stated, whether you're curious about exploring the horror fiction genre, or an established fan like myself, this book is most DEFINITELY worth your while! As a natural skeptic who seldom posts reviews, I have to give kudos to D'Angelo's masterful storytelling capabilities, in addition to his fantastic artwork which sets him apart from other authors whose books are either predictable or go in one eye and out the other.

—S. Winder, Amazon Review, Prey to God

I love origin stories where the protagonist is learning about their true identity and what they are capable of. Skinner is sexy and thrilling in all the right ways. My favorite character is Will’s grandfather who is funny and wise. Read it!

— L.J.V,, Amazon Review, Skinner The Saga Begins
